The original debuted two years ago to rave reviews. The new Jelly Bean 2 looks to push budget performance to new heights.
Two years ago to the month, 11SIX24 debuted the Jelly Bean, a sleek-looking pickleball paddle that was high on performance and low on price.
It became an instant darling of reviewers and a favorite among rec players looking for a quality option that didn't break the bank.
Next month, it's coming back. Brighter and better than ever.
On August 21, 11SIX24 plans to debut the Jelly Bean 2 in its four signature shapes:
- Hurache-X (elongated)
- Vapor (hybrid)
- Ultré (hybrid)
- Pegasus (widebody)
All models are 16mm, UPA-A approved, and will come with the brand's industry-leading durable surface grit, HexGrit.

The brand’s new Power 2 paddle line features a proprietary silicon-carbide surface material designed to solve one of the industry’s most persistent problems.

The feel profile will be markedly different from the current Power 2 lineup, founder Davis Groechel tells me. Think less power and more dwell thanks to a softer, denser foam core.
It will retail for $169.99 in three distinct new designs.
