Andrei Daescu leaves Proton for CRBN!

Andrei Daescu left Proton for CRBN, which is almost as crazy as if Ben Johns left Joola. And it makes me wonder… What's going on with Proton?  The more interesting question is what this means for Proton. Andrei was Proton’s first pro but he’s not the only player to leave. Their sponsorship roster feels like more of a revolving door than almost any other paddle company. Their logos aren’t plastered all over PPA events like they used to be, they had that involuntary bankruptcy proceeding last year, but that’s not even the craziest part.  Now this is completely unsubstantiated, so take it with a massive grain of salt…but I’m also hearing rumors that they’re trying to sell the Phoenix Flames.
