DUPR Wants to Tell You More Than Just Your Rating

Ever wonder how often you beat better players, where you rank locally, or whether you're actually improving? DUPR+ wants to give you the receipts.

Your DUPR rating is about to get a whole lot more interesting.

DUPR is rolling out DUPR+, a new premium membership that goes well beyond the familiar three-digit decimal rating. Think deeper performance analytics, AI-powered insights, local rankings, and a few new ways to measure your pickleball prowess.

As DUPR states:

Your DUPR tells you where you stand. DUPR+ helps you understand how you got there, how to improve, and how you stack up.

And for the first two weeks, everybody gets to play.

From October 13–27, DUPR+ will be free for every player worldwide, giving users a chance to explore the new features before deciding whether to pay for a subscription.

So, What's New With DUPR+?

The new membership introduces six features designed to help players better understand their game:

  • DUPR Insights: Track your rating trends, clutch record, upset wins, and other performance stats. Finally, some hard evidence that you really do play better when it matters.
  • Performance vs. Skill Level: See your win percentage against players across different rating ranges. Are you dominating 3.5s but struggling against 4.0s? Now you'll know exactly where you stand.
  • Metro Area Rankings: Find out how you stack up against other players in your area. Because apparently, comparing ratings with your regular foursome wasn't enough.
  • AI-Enhanced DUPR Rating: Optional AI video analysis adds another layer of insight to your player profile.
  • DUPR Replay: Get a monthly AI-generated recap of your matches and performance.
  • Verified Checkmark: Verify your identity and participate in Verified Events.

How Much Does DUPR+ Cost?

After the free preview ends October 27, DUPR+ will cost $19.99 per year.

That's roughly $1.67 per month for players who want a more detailed look at their performance.

Importantly, the standard DUPR rating system remains free. Players who don't subscribe will keep their ratings and access to basic MyDUPR statistics.

DUPR is also advertising up to $130 in membership benefits, including a $30 JOOLA gift card and either $20 in Club Cash or a free coaching lesson.

Is It Worth It?

For players who already obsess over every decimal point of their rating, DUPR+ offers plenty of new rabbit holes to explore.

But the most interesting addition might be the ability to see how you're performing, not just what your rating happens to be.

Knowing that you're a 3.8 is one thing. Knowing how often you beat 4.0s, whether you perform under pressure, and how your results are trending? That's potentially useful information.

And at $19.99 annually, it's not exactly a massive financial commitment.

The best part? You have two weeks to find out whether the extra data is worth paying for.
