Drops, dinks and resets felt particularly natural; controlling placement was the biggest strength in our testing. The face has a slightly firm feel, while the surface design and replacement-program offer add interest in this budget category. ⚠️ WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING This is not a free-power paddle. Drives, counters and finishing shots demand more effort from the player. Our reviewer also noticed arm fatigue after about an hour of generating that power. EdgeTech says its face grooves improve spin, but our testing did not find a dramatic spin advantage over other paddles in this price range.
