If you want to hit better resets in transition, these three things will make a huge difference. 1. Lower your paddle. Most balls (if they’re good lol in transition are traveling downward. If your paddle starts too high, you end up either swinging at balls that are going out or popping the ball up because your contact point is off. 2. Soften your grip. When someone rips a ball at you and you’re squeeze the paddle tightly, all that incoming pace transfers right back into the ball — which usually results in a pop-up. A looser grip allows you to absorb pace and drop the ball softly into the kitchen instead of accelerating it. 3. Split step before contact. You’ll notice every high-level player uses a split step in transition. If you’re running through your shot, it’s almost impossible to control the reset. #pickleball #pickleballtips #pickleballdrills #pickleballplayer #pickleballaddict Source: All Things Pickleball
