As a non-tennis player, spacing has always been a tough concept for me to nail down. Recently ive been focusing a lot more on my footwork and timing— this drill is a fantastic way to put those into practice. How it works: Catching the ball in front of you with your non-dominant hand helps you to measure the distance you need between you and the ball. Notice how sometimes I have to move forward and sometimes I have to move backward. With good footwork and spacing our distance to the ball, our stroke can be so mechanical and repeatable. Something I like to tell myself is: “get there quickly with my feet so my hands can be quiet.” — 👉 follow @edjupickleball for daily content 🏓: @holbrookpickleball ARMA 👟: @montispickleball 🩳: @udrippin.grips 🙌🏼 Discount Code: EDJU — #pickleballtips #pickleballdrills #pickleballislife Source: Ed Ju
