The Best Dressed Pros at the PPA Newport Beach Open

The pros headed to Newport Beach, California, for another week of competitive pickleball and great outfits. The sunny Southern California weather made for a beautiful and scenic weekend – and some fresh fits.

Here are our favorite looks.

Anna Leigh Waters

Anna Leigh wore a sapphire purple kit from Nike, pairing the Nike Victory Women’s Dri-FIT Short Sleeve Tennis Topwith the matching Nike Victory Women’s Dri-FIT Flouncy Tennis Skirt. The bright look felt perfectly suited for Southern California and stood out on court.

Chris Haworth

Chris makes the list for the second week in a row. He wore the On Court-T Fade shirt paired with the matching On 5" Court Shorts Fade. The look was inspired by Ben Shelton, and the graphic fade added a great visual element that made the outfit stand out on court.

Lingwei Kong

Lingwei wore great outfits all week, and it was truly hard to pick just one. She wore the Beyond Yoga Spacedye Sea You There High Cropped Tank. This look from Beyond Yoga featured great nautical stripes and a classic navy color that felt perfectly suited for the coastal Newport Beach setting.

Ting Chieh Wei

Jamie wore the Tokyo Tank Dress in Real Red, perfectly matching her partner Allyce Jones. The sleek cut and vibrant color created a bold, coordinated look on the court.

JW Johnson

JW wore the Ventilated Sleeveless Tennis Shirt, matching Jorja’s skirt perfectly while adding subtle pops of green. He paired it with the License to Train Linerless 7″ Shorts in a coordinating blue to complete the look.

Jorja Johnson & Tyra Hurricane Black

Jorja and Tyra looked great in Lululemon’s Burgundy Bay colorway, both sporting the lululemon Align High-Rise Skirt. Jorja paired hers with the Wunder Train Cropped Long-Sleeve Half-Zip, while Tyra opted for the Wunder Train Piped Strappy Tank, creating two coordinated looks with slightly different styling.
