Explanation ⬇️ What’s the difference between a thick and thin paddle? 🤔 A thin paddle is generally something 14mm and below while a thick paddle is generally 16mm and up. (Core thickness) Historically, thinner paddles have offered more power and pop, while thicker paddles have offered more control and a bigger sweetspot. 🎯 As paddle technology has progressed however, these stereotypes have become less apparent. For instance in our paddle the Banger, it’s thinner at 14mm, but it still offers solid control and has a good sweetspot. We are also starting to see 16mm paddles on the more powerful side. 💪 Which do you prefer? Thick or thin? Let us know in the comments! #pickleball Source: Enhance Pickleball
