  • BIG BONUS: The FINALS counts as an extra event to add to your points and ranking.

  • Over 1,500 players participating, including a 500 point full pro event for those who did not qualify for the Finals.
  • Coverage on PickleballTV begins at 2pm Eastern Wednesday through Friday and 1pm Eastern Saturday and Sunday.
  • Exclusive FS1 window 7-9pm Eastern Saturday night.
  • Exclusive big FOX window 5-7pm Eastern on Sunday.

POINTS AWARDED IN EACH DISCIPLINE:

  • 300 per round robin win
  • 400 for a semis win
  • 700 for a finals win

HOW THIS FINALS FORMAT WORKS:

Each team/player plays every other team/player in their pool. The top 2 advance to the semis. The winner of pool A plays second place in pool B (and vice versa) on Semifinal Saturday. The two winners then play for gold on Sunday.

The final standings in each pool are determined in this order:

  1. Greatest number of wins
  2. If 2 teams are tied in wins, head to head will break the tie.
  3. If 3 teams are tied, ties are broken by head to head sweep, followed by:
    1. Point differential for all matches
    2. Point differential H2H
    3. Point differential against next highest ranked team.

WOMEN’S SINGLES POOLS:

Player to watch: Kate Fahey: with Anna Leigh Waters out of singles, this is her chance to shine. She played an impressive, grueling final against Waters in Atlanta and should bring tons of confidence to California.

MEN’S SINGLES POOLS:

Player to watch: Has to be Chris Haworth. Rose to the number 1 ranking, cemented that with the win in Atlanta and handled the hype of Tama town like a pro in beating the youngster to grab that gold.

MIXED DOUBLES POOLS:

Team to watch: Anna Bright and Hayden Patriquin – made the final in Atlanta but were swept in the Finals by Waters/Johns – can they find the level when they did the sweeping in Mesa?

WOMEN’S DOUBLES POOLS:

Team to watch: Parris Todd and Rachel Rohrabacher – they won in Sacramento (without Waters/Bright in the draw) and showed a lot of chemistry, versatility, and high level play – can they bring that to the southern part of the state?
