The difference between a beginner dink and an advanced dink isn’t just consistency 👀 As you level up, you’re learning how to make your dinks more intentional + aggressive. BEGINNER DINKS: → More of a push through the back of the ball → Very little spin or shape → Weight distributed pretty evenly → Contact point gets too close to the body ADVANCED DINKS: → Create space between the body + the ball → Let the ball reach the top of the bounce before attacking it → Get your weight onto the outside foot → Contact more of the back/side of the ball to create spin and shape You don’t necessarily need to hit your dinks harder to make them more aggressive — you need better spacing, positioning and shape 🔥 #pickleball #pickleballaddict #pickleballdrills #pickleballtips #pickleballplayer Source: All Things Pickleball
