Mr. Kincheloe – I am essentially a beginner and have been playing a little over two months now. I have watched a few of your videos, which have been helpful as I learn the fundamentals. I watched the video on cross-court dinking, and I have a question. I do not think it was clear when you would use back spin versus top spin. Based on my limited playing experience so far, I think it makes sense to learn the back spin first as it seems relatively easy to do, and then perhaps work to add the top spin later after mastering the basic fundamentals. Any thoughts on my question and approach would be appreciated. Thanks
