Kuwait - April 2025

In a major milestone for Kuwait’s growing sports community, the country hosted its first-ever Pickleball tournament, organized by Pickleball Kuwait Club — a club founded in 2023 with the mission to introduce and expand the sport across the nation.

The tournament witnessed the participation of over 60 players of various skill levels, who competed passionately in a professionally organized setting. The vibrant atmosphere reflected the players’ enthusiasm, competitive spirit, and commitment to the emerging sport.

The success of the tournament was further bolstered by the support of 10 sponsors, showcasing strong backing from Kuwait’s private sector and a shared belief in promoting new sports initiatives within the community.

In an official statement, representatives of Pickleball Kuwait Club expressed their pride, saying:

"We firmly believe that Pickleball has a promising future in Kuwait. Organizing the country's first tournament with such strong participation reflects the community’s growing passion and motivates us to continue expanding this exciting sport."

This inaugural tournament marks a major achievement for Pickleball Kuwait Club, which, in a short time since its establishment, has built a vibrant local community and set the stage for Kuwait to become a prominent hub for Pickleball in the region.
